August, the month of two stand out performers.
- The Gulfstream 450 with 6 Sold.
- The Gulfstream 550 with 6 Sold.
773 Aircraft For Sale in this Preowned Aircraft Market Segment. The first time below 800 in 7 years.
There are aircraft models within this aircraft segment that have had very, very little activity in 2017.
For instance:
- The Gulfstream V has very little activity in 2017 (1 Sold), yet the Gulfstream 550 has done very well (23 Sold). (The newer aircraft activity is much better than that of the older airplane)
- The Global 6000 has very little activity in 2017 (4 Sold), yet the Global XRS has done very well (11 Sold). (The older aircraft activity is much better than that of the newer airplane.)
- There are other models of concern, these two examples (one the successor of the other) are interesting in that the older versus newer flips between the manufactures.
